Just before we leave

You know that feeling when you actually sit down with your tea instead of rushing it? That's what this painting is about. I painted this little emerald teapot because I wanted to remember that — there's something so lovely about slowing down and actually enjoying the cup in front of you, even if you've only got ten minutes.

It's small, it's cosy, and honestly it just makes me happy every time I look at it. I hope it does the same for you.
