Dancing Shoes

These shoes. I painted them in 2007 and every time I look at them I'm right back in the 90s! Bad lighting, great music, dancing until your feet hurt and not caring one bit.

There's something about a pair of well-worn red Mary Janes that just holds a whole era. They've been places. They've danced. And now they get to live on a wall and remind you that sometimes the best nights are the ones you didn't plan.
